The day starts at Les Aubineaux – a colonial mansion built in 1872 and a landmark in Mauritian heritage. Then drive along tea fields to Bois Cheri tea factory to discover the secrets of tea before proceeding to the chalet for a traditional tea break.

Lunch is served at the plantation house of Saint Aubin, dated 1819. The Domaine is known for its locally grown vanilla, anthurium greenhouse and rum.

Continue to La Vanille Nature Park, with its largest group of Aldabra tortoises and variety of other animals. You may also visit the Insectarium with more than 23,000 specimens.

Taste the many varieties of tea. Visit the rum distillery unveiling the magic behind our local rum, while the insectarium is something you would not want to miss.
